Regatta Report: Lake Erie Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta

The Wolverines competed at the Lake Erie Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta in Toledo September 9-10.

summary

The Wolverines had an awesome weekend at the Lake Erie Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta. There was a combination of good tactics and seamless crew work that allowed the team to place well. The conditions were light and shifty, which worked well with our team’s experience sailing on Baseline Lake. The PHRF A boats were better suited for the conditions which allowed them to take the lead in the overall standings, but our team placed 1st in their class!
