This weekend we sent four sailors to Milwaukee, Minnesota for the Pere Marquette regatta. The first day, the wind was offshore and consistently below five knots. The waves in Lake Michigan coupled with the shifty wind made for difficult conditions for racing. The races were postponed for a few hours in the morning due to the lack of wind. Overall, two complete rotations were completed for A and B divisions. The Michigan team improved in their racing throughout the day.

On Sunday, the breeze started about 13 knots and died throughout the day. The races were held inside the break wall, so there was minimal chop. The team secured sixth place overall and had a great time at Marquette.
