The Wolverines competed at the Southern Collegiate Offshore Regatta in Charleston this past weekend (February 11-12th).

Summary

On Saturday, the regatta started off with great winds but cold temperatures. Michigan competed in the A Fleet against seven other schools. The Wolverines were able to finish three races, and stood in 3rd place after day one.

On Sunday, the breeze and temperature held consistent. The fleet was able to get three races in to finish the regatta with six total races. The team started the day with a spinnaker mishap, but they were able to turn it around. Overall, the team finished in 6th place.
