Summary

This was an eventful weekend with 15 sailors on the road at 3 different regattas! Wolverines competed at Emma Biagioni, Wisco Women’s, and Coed Atlantic Coast Tournament. Our team at the Emma Biagioni regatta sailed at Hope College. They sailed exceptionally well and had a very consistent scoreline, earning them 2nd place overall! A special shoutout to Billy and Sam for winning A Fleet and winning 5 of the 7 races! Our women’s team competed at Wisco Women’s in Madison, Wisconsin. The regatta was a test of all conditions with Saturday seeing very light wind and Sunday seeing 15+ knots. The Michigan team finished 5th overall. Congrats to Emily and Abigail for winning a race in A Fleet! The last regatta this weekend was competed at Navy for the Coed Atlantic Coast Tournament. This was a competitive fleet against some very strong east coast teams. Sherman and Lily had a very strong first two races and were winning B fleet after the first set! The team finished 12/18 overall. Congrats to all of our sailors for a very eventful and successful weekend!
